Proquint (En|De)code
PRO-nouncable QUINT-uplets - easily readable, spellable, and pronounceable. Designed to allow
communication of numbers (IP addresses, credit card numbers, or other large numbers) or data
via language.
Paste proquint encoded data in the
encoded section, and see the results in the decoded section (once you leave the
text area - try tab or clicking elsewhere). Alternatively enter hex or bytes in the decoded
section and see it encoded as a proquint.

Composition
16 bits (2 bytes) are encoded in a series of 5 letters
- A consonant represemts 4 bits
- A vowel represemts 2 bits
- Ordered as: [consonant][vowel][consonant][vowel][consonant]
- Dash characters are inserted between each quintuple, the five characters are pronounceable
